no danes in delhi

Hands on the stop button, I got involved in what seemed like a major publishing drive for Danish (and Dutch, and Norwegian ...) literature in India. It always seemed too good to be true, and as Information reports here, it was. I managed to get one book off the keyboard before the hotline from Delhi self-destructed: Mette Finderup's excellent novel for young readers, Blink. Gyldendal are now picking up on the translation and will be pushing it at the Bologna fair in April. There's an extract from the draft posted here.
